If you need to charge during ELRP events, you can override the charge schedule generated by WeaveGrid directly on your charger or vehicle, or through their dedicated apps. You can also reply “CHARGE NOW” to 59972 to start charging immediately.
However, we encourage drivers with PG&E or SDG&E to participate in ELRP events, as they are a valuable opportunity to help your community by reducing electricity consumption when the grid is under strain.
