What is an electric rate and where do I find mine?
An electricity rate determines the cost of your electricity by your provider. This program is only available for customers on Time of Use (time-varying) rates. Look on your electric bill or online utility account to find your Time of Use rate code. Sometimes the code is called a “rate schedule” or “rate plan”.
I am on a flat, non-time varying rate, why am I not eligible for the Program?
To take advantage of EV charging windows that are lower cost for you, lower cost for your utility, and better for the grid, consider adopting a time-varying rate through your utility account.
